The Crisp Festival of Music on Pender Island is a weekend-long event that celebrates music, art, and culture. The festival takes place every year in the summer, and features performances by local and international artists, as well as art exhibitions and workshops. The festival is open to the public, and everyone is invited to attend! Admission is by donation, and all proceeds go to towards paying contributors and production and supporting volunteers of the SGICRC. The Crisp Festival of Music is a great opportunity to experience the best of what Pender Island has to offer!
This year we attended the festival on the evening of Saturday September 10th, and were not disappointed. The night started off with a performance by the Daniel Cook Trio, which got everyone in the mood for a fun evening of music and dancing. The main stage featured a variety of acts throughout the night, including Adrian Knight and North Star. There was something for everyone at the Crisp Festival of Music, and we can’t wait to go back next year!
